Parker is a Design Strategist with a background in architecture who uses human-centered design to strengthen communities’ ability to process, create, and advocate for themselves amid changing environments. With Just City Memphis, he co-led efforts to transform public understanding of pretrial detention by combining real-time data and personal stories to promote judicial accountability. Most recently, he worked with the Illinois Division of Mental Health, mapping patient journeys through carceral and healthcare systems to improve outcomes for those deemed not guilty by reason of insanity. In Chicago, Parker continues exploring how design and community organizing can intersect for collective empowerment.
