Eugene Robinson Jr. is the inaugural Director of Black Student Success in the Office of Equity at Chicago Public Schools. With over 20 years in education and social work, he has led initiatives impacting more than 100,000 students, from student engagement to postsecondary planning. His leadership at CPS and the University of Chicago Charter School has strengthened academic success and emotional support for students and families. A CPS alum, Eugene earned degrees from Chicago State University and the University of Chicago and remains dedicated to racial justice, educational equity, and lifelong learning.
